BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: Hosmer Point offers the quintessential camp experience. Located in the beautiful mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, Hosmer Point offers 1, 2, 4, and 6 week sessions for ages 9 to 15, day camps for ages 5 to 8, and Wilderness Trekking camps for high school-aged youth. Campers build a sense of community in a safe environment where children can play, explore, create life-long friendships and build self-confidence.

CAMP LOCATION: Located in the beautiful mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, our lake-side campus is 1.5 hours from Burlington, VT, 2.5 hours from Montreal, 4 hours from Boston, and 7 hours drive from New York City. Transportation form Burlington International Airport is available.
CAMP FACILITIES: Hosmer Point offers the quintessential camp experience with rustic cabins sleeping 6-10 campers (and 2 counselors), dining hall, lounge, theater, arts and crafts building, mountain bike park, archery range, tennis courts, hiking trails, and bouldering wall. Our waterfront boasts a sandy beach, waterslide, aqua jump, and canoeing, paddleboarding, sailing, and sculling equipment. We also have a camp farm with pigs, chickens, goats, and sheep; and a garden where campers can help grow their own yummy veggies.

Campers choose from a wide variety of focus areas including: sculling, farm and build, mountain biking, creative arts and sports and fitness. Campers who want in-depth instruction can attend our specialty Sculling camps for ages 12 to 15.
Hosmer Point is a non-profit American Camp Association accredited camp.
CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Hosmer Point offers an LIT program for 16 year olds and a CIT program for 17 year olds. Campers must have attended Hosmer Point previously.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: School and group retreats and team building activities; facility rental for weddings, reunions, sports teams, and corporate events offered mid-May - mid-June and mid-August - October.
